Family-run local cork business!

Westward Dry Cleaners and Laundry is a second generation family run business based in Ballincollig originally established in 1982 by Henry and Noreen McDonagh and now run by their daughter Barbara and her family. With nearly 40 years experience, we currently employ 12 staff, fully trained in all aspects of garment care, repair and alteration at our main purpose built premises in Westpoint Trade Centre on The Link Road with our Drop and Collect Depot!

Sustainability and caring for our environment is paramount to our business. Reducing the reliance on plastics, chemicals and wastage that is bad for the environment matters to us. For this reason we have introduced a full collection of reusable laundry, dry cleaning bags, covers, hangers etc for our customers.

We will only use fully biodegradable plastic where necessary and all of the chemical usage is environmentally controlled and ecologically disposed of in line with our own sustainability and environmental policies.

Our clients span the 40 years of the business. We cater for personal, corporate, industrial and governmental clients. Our customers include local residents and businesses, and national clients who’s offices are based here in Cork.
